The Lucknow Recreation Department coordinates a Learn to Skate Program for children aged 3 to 10 years old. There are three separate classes, New Skaters (3 years of age and new to skating) Junior (ages 4 to 6) and Senior (ages 7 to 10). The program runs on Saturday mornings starting in October and ends in late February. Skates, CSA approved hockey helmets and facemasks are mandatory for all registrants.
Pre-registration for the program is a requirement.
Registration for the 2025/2026 Learn to Skate Program is now OPEN.
2025/2026 Learn to Skate Session Dates:
- October 18, 25
- November 1, 8, 22, 29
- December 13, 20
- January 3, 10, 17, 31
- February 7, 14
Classes run for 30 minutes between 8:00 am and 10:30 am Saturday mornings.
