The Lucknow & District Recreation Department Requires a

Temporary Full-Time Facility Operator & Parks Maintainer

(15-month maternity leave coverage)

Reporting directly to the Facility Manager/Recreation Coordinator, this temporary full-time position is based on a 40-hour work week and a competitive wage.  This position is to fill a 15-month maternity leave, and will begin on July 6, 2026, and will last for a period of up to 15 months.

The duties of this position include operation and maintenance of the Lucknow & District Sports Complex, Outdoor Pool, Parks, Baseball Diamonds, and Soccer Fields.

The ideal candidate for this position is required to hold a valid G class driver’s license at a minimum. Additional consideration will be given to applicants who hold current Certified Ice Technician and Certified Pool Operator credentials; however, other relevant certificates and experience may also be considered an asset.

The compensation range for this 15-month maternity leave coverage, temporary full-time contract is $26.03 to $32.54 per hour with a 40-hour work week.
